Extremely oppressive aggro deck, utilizing the new 0 operating cost Japanese infantry and the powerful Soviet T-80. Use cards like Juggernaut and Type 93 to increase unit attack and finish the game with extreme speed.

Great deck bro. What do you think about TYPE 98 Ke-Ni? It has 0 op cost too and this deck can use katyusha as activator.

This gets Japan to Feild Marshal very quickly :). Turn 4 victories are pretty frequent. I played around with throwing in 2nd RAIDING BRIGADE, BOMBING RAID, N1K-J SHIDEN and DESPERATE MEASURES and it works very well with those as well.

i have made some changes beacause i don't have the soviet tank but it works really good. nice job!!

So this is the OP deck everyone has been talking about...

Easily the fastest deck in the current series.  Very hard to defend against.

Is it just me or this deck is completely obsolete?

I found its competitiveness pathetic.

Started to play non-draft games after long pause,

I was completely out of meta for like three months,

so I picked up this one in the last month attempt to climb to FM again.

I was doing that on the last day of the Season, played like a dozen of games,

had equal ratio of Loss/Win, I abandoned attempt.

So, I tried yesterday again – same story.

About a dozen of games, from Mayor zero stars to maybe Mayor one star.

It seems to me that nerf to the Juggernaut & T-80 in combination with other factors totally killed this deck.

Other factors:

1) many non-aggro decks are extra-prepared for Aggro – minor problem, it will always be the case. Maybe now is more pronounced given some allegedly insane aggro cards in this dumb expansion.

2) First real problem is that every time you play Aggro-Japan system will match you with other Japan-aggro players. It is so fucking obvious that deliberate attempt is to rig matchup in a way "let them kill among themselves so other guys can have little peace". You play UK Air for an hour, you encounter Jap-Aggro here and there. You go from M0 to G1 in reasonable time. OK, let's quit UK, and let's climb M0 to G1 with Japs. Well, it seems that every other fucking person on the planet decided to do the same

:Pikachu:

Even without factors below, playing Aggro against aggro brings randomness into play.

Long term odds among equally strong decks will be 50/50 and that is not how you climb thru the ranks.

  1. But, to make matters worse, other Aggro players have removals and AOE sweepers (Sickle, Tora, B.Raid, Naval), I'm obviously the dumb one, and so out of the game, that I think I can win Japan like I played it last summer-early autumn. Sweepers especially hurt because this deck has…

  1. … terrible draw. You almost regret when you start first. You either have miraculous mulligan and subsequent cards, or you stall. Complete hit or miss. Other Aggro will brutally hurt you because for every blitz unit they have another one and frontline will swing back and forth. Till they pull removals so at least you know you can surrender.
